Sarah Mollison

Future Stars Lacrosse founder Sarah Mollison has played in six Australian Teams 2003 U19, 2005, 2009, 2013, 2017 and 2022. The 2005 team won the World Cup earning the status of World Champions. Sarah was an Australian Team vice captain in 2017 and has also played in several junior and senior Victorian Teams commencing with U16 selection at just 12 years of age.
Sarah attended the University of Maryland, UMD, USA, between 2008 and 2011, where she won an NCAA Division I National Championship (2010), three Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championships, and was co-captain for two years (2010, 2011). Sarah was also named an NCAA Division I All-American for three consecutive years (2009, 2010, 2011) and finished her collegiate career at Maryland as a two-time Tewaaraton Award – Watch List selection including top 5 Finalist in 2011. Sarah finished her career ranked third on Maryland’s list of career assists (119), while she tied for fourth in points (272) and was ninth in goals (153). Sarah was the third player in UMD history to total 100 points in a single season.
Sarah has coached club teams at Footscray Lacrosse Club for over 15 years, as well as three U18 Victorian Teams. Sarah also spent 2012 at NCAA Division I William & Mary USA as an Assistant Coach. Sarah is a qualified Health/PE teacher and is very passionate about growing the sport of lacrosse in Australia and spreading her knowledge to the Future Stars of our game.
